Steps To Success With Dave Cleinman

I Teach and Share Internet Marketing Success Strategies

When I first started writing articles I focused on what most appealed to me, motivation and reasons for building a business.  In the weeks that followed I wrote over twenty articles and submitted them to multiple sites.  As promised, my newsletter subscribers increased, sales came, and things were shaping up perfectly.  All seemed well.  Until…

One of the areas that also is dear to my soul is mental energy and self-programming.  So I wrote an article about harnessing and using mental energy, making it work for us rather than being a victim of forces against us.  This article got thousands of views more than any of the others.  I realized then that writing an article is not just about what interests me, but that I have an obligation to find what others need and provide it.

Each article that I write is researched both for what readers need and, where necessary, so I can provide the best information.  Credibility is the lifeblood of a marketer, and trying to be a false expert is not effective for long.  A well-written article is more effective, long-term, than just about any other traffic generating method.   Good articles tend to cycle.  They get picked up, shared, enjoyed by hundreds, sometimes thousands of readers.  They build credibility for the writer, set them up as an expert, and create that long-term relationship that is so vital for success in business.

Here are some basic tips to start and really get going quickly:

1.  Brainstorm with a few friends about what information people need and want most.  Stick to what you know well or have a passion for.  When you have a list of ten good ideas, break them down into sub-ideas.  Try for ten of those each.  This will turn ten ideas into a hundred very quickly.

2.  To keep the writing flowing, write an article at least four times per week.  An hour should be enough to write a rough draft, and then another to verify your facts and produce a final draft.  Eight hours per week may seem like a lot, but this can quickly lead to a snowball effect of credibility and corresponding website traffic.

3.  Avoid article spinners, or other devices designed to turn one article into multiple articles.  They destroy meaning and often produce an article that we would not want associated with our name!

4.  Stick at it and have fun.  Practice makes this process a bit easier, and the results can be amazing.  As you do more and more research you may find that you are learning as much as you are teaching, and in so doing will constantly expand your range of topics.

Article writing is unlike any other direct traffic method.  The readers of your articles have proven that they enjoy what you have to say and want to know more.  These are the very type of motivated buyers that marketers struggle to find!  When they buy from you, visit your blog, or sign up for your newsletter, make every effort to establish a long-term relationship.  Continue to provide quality content and useful information, and you will have unlocked the keys to the marketing kingdom.

Let’s face it,

Economic problems, unemployment, foreclosures, overzealous airport security, a bickering and ineffective government, ever growing world instability, and simple personal issues that require our attention when our energy is already low combine to make life seem like a perpetual uphill battle. People are getting more and more discouraged and worried, and there seems to be no plan among world governments to solve these problems.

IT’S EVERY MAN FOR HIMSELF! Captain Smith tells his crew when Titanic is about to sink.

Nowadays it appears that as economies sink, that very attitude is becoming more and more pervasive.

So what can the little man (or woman) do to stem this tide and take back their lives from the economic and social monsters that are rampaging unchecked?

1. Decide what it is we most wish to accomplish. I won’t make any judgements here. It could be anything. The idea is to seek one’s greatest life desire.
2. Establish a plan for accomplishing it. Everything from removing personal obstacles, to establishing a schedule of activities.
3. Go for it. Let nothing hold you back.
4. Realize that if you are not working to accomplish what you desire, you are working to achieve someone else’s life goals!
5. Get the process started. Take daily action and don’t dwell of problems, setbacks, or slow progress. Just keep going.
6. Enjoy the journey! This is the key that keeps people going through tough times, and also makes the process very enjoyable, even if things are happening slowly.
7. Celebrate successes, no matter how small, and do more of what is working.

I know that these seem like an abstract outline of ideas, but only the person reading this can choose what it is they want to accomplish and how they want to go about it. Beyond that, the steps are pretty much the same. The real point is to get the process started!

He’s lost, I tell you!

Nah, he’s on vacation!

For eight weeks?

Well not exactly.  The period between the end of June and the end of September is a very busy time for me.  I have been traveling, attending seminars, and meeting new people.  I did take my family on a month long vacation.  I have been building websites and prepping for a media campaign.  So I apologize if you missed my posts, or my newsletter, Step by Step.

Internet marketing is best done this time of year.  Kids have returned to school and the busy summer period is winding down.  Having said that, let me say this:  People are still up to the same old tricks that I lament about in previous posts.  They flip flop from program to program, spam and scam anyone they can find, and generally have less success than a scientist building a fire out of ice in Antarctica!

Yet I still promote GVO and Magnetic Sponsoring.  I have added a few systems that I will talk about later.  If you are serious about truly building a business, you need to talk to me.  I will steer you in the right direction, that’s a promise.

Another post will be up within a day or two.

My best,

Dave Cleinman

Think only of success.  Believe with all your being that it is yours.
In doing so, you can only succeed!  – Marshall Sylver

Most people expect to fail.  That is an unfortunate reality.  Those who succeed and reach their income and life goals do just the opposite.  They expect to succeed.  They think only of success.  Do they fail?  Yes.  All the time.  Because they expect to succeed, however, they keep going.  They keep taking action.  They learn from setbacks and failures and change their tactics.

Most people recognize the name Richard Branson.  He and a few friends founded the now mega-company known as Virgin.  It might surprise people to know that Sir Richard Branson had numerous failures that financially devastated him.  Rather than quitting and just taking a job, however, he kept going.  He harnessed talent and was bold in his approach to life and business.  He expected success, he demanded what was required of himself, and he eventually set things in motion that made him a fortune.

Thomas Edison failed in his attempts to produce the light bulb thousands of times.  Yet we use it every day now, largely without even thinking about it.  He expected success.  He didn’t care about failure, he wanted success and demanded it of himself.

George Washington spent a large part of The Revolutionary War fleeing from superior forces.  The colonists and their fledgling army was no match for superior British finances, manpower, and organization.  Yet some strategic negotiations and careful planning produced an end result that created a nation.  And what a nation it is!  Failure preceded victory in the USA’s struggle for independence many many times.

Danielle Steele completed several novels that were never publsihed, before finally having a successful publication.  Now she is a bestselling novelist.

JK Rowling wrote the Harry Potter book, The Philosopher’s Stone when she was on welfare.  She is now a billionaire!

These are but a few examples, and clearly failure has preceded success in all of these cases.  The people involved focused on doing what they loved, expected to succeed, and refused to accept failure as the final result.

Think only of success.  Believe in it.  Do what you need to do to succeed, and you will.
